Sensory training
Sensory training offered by our laboratory is intended to provide basic techniques for application of sensory analysis by manufacturing plants and retailers. It may also serve as a refresher for people who already have some expertise in this field. Our training team of sensory experts demonstrates by its own experience how good sensory practice can be used to improve quality control and development of new products.
Our training offer includes:
- recruitment of candidates for the assessors
- monitoring of assessors' sensory sensitivity
- training of people responsible for sensory evaluation, e.g. sensory department managers, sensory group leaders
- training on chosen sensory methods
- applying sensory analysis in quality control and in product modification process
- training on defects detection
The 2-days training consists of a series of lectures and practical sessions, performed in modern sensory laboratory. Tvelve individual testing booths are equipped with pass-through windows and controlled lighting to mask visual cues in samples.
All panelists attending the training are awarded an Assiduity Certificate in Sensory Evaluation.
