As of 14th September 2011 J. S. Hamilton Poland Ltd. has become first independent inspection and testing company accredited with «Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange».

The OJSC Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange started its operation in June 2005 by first auctions of wood products. It was established in order to improve the mechanism of government regulation in the field of domestic and foreign trade and to develop formal wholesale market. Now the Exchange has 4 commodities sections: wood and timber, metal products, agricultural products and industrial and consumer goods.

All expert and import transactions for the above commodities are concluded through the Commodity Exchange.



Primary goals of the Universal Commodity Exchange are:

- Assistance in development of organized commodity market
- Increase of efficiency of Belarusian export
- Simplification of sellers/buyers networking
- Provision of transparent trading mechanism of transaction concluded on stock exchange

The main services of the Universal Commodity Exchange include:

- Arrangement of conditions for exchange trading sessions/auctions,
- Conduct of exchange trading sessions/auctions,
- Registration of exchange deals,
- Arrangement of quality examination of goods traded by Exchange when required
- Evaluation of demand and supply of commodities,
- Рrice quоtation,
- Examination of factors influencing the market value dynamics.
A new line of exchange service is logistics of exchange. This means an opportunity for buyers for making use of Exchange provisions in terms of transportation, storage and inspection of goods.
