Pre-shipment Inspection
J.S. Hamilton Poland Ltd. provides pre-shipment inspection of any commodities in order to ensure that they meet contractual quality, quantity, packing and marking requirements.
Pre-shipment inspection is usually arranged at manufacturer's premises or in export warehouses and consists of:
- Visual examination of goods for their appearance and genuine origin
- Check of quantity for conformity with letters of credit, pro-forma invoices, packing lists and other contractual documentation
- Verification of quality based on sampling and consequential analysis, when applicable, and/or on review of relevant manufacturer's Quality Certificates
- Inspection of packing to ensure it is suitable for selected method of transportation
- Verification of export marking for compliance with contractual requirements.
J.S. Hamilton Poland Ltd. issues pre-shipment Inspection Reports to the clients including international organisations engaged in CISS (Comprehensive Import Supervision Scheme) for the purpose of issuance of Clean Reports of Findings.
